Mrs Baker is retiring.

Mrs Baker, who has worked at Wellgate for 19 years and Mapplewell schools for almost 30 years has decided to retire.

We said a fond farewell with special assemblies on Friday.

Mrs Baker received gifts and cards from each class and as is custom at Wellgate was sprinkled with sparkles!

We will miss her coming to teach at Wellgate.

My girls both loved Mrs Baker. We’re sad to see her go. Hope she enjoys her well-deserved retirement.
